Melissa Dixon is the latest female fighter to join the UFC.

An undefeated bantamweight who impressed during her tenure for ARES FC, Dixon (5-0 MMA, 0-0) recently signed with the UFC, her manager Maurice Blanco of First Round Management, informed MMA Junkie on Thursday.

Dixon, 31, hails out of Lions Gym in Coventry, England. She has three TKO victories and two decision wins in five professional fights. Dixon most recently competed at ARES FC 9 in November when she defeated then-undefeated Darya Zheleznyakova (7-1) by first-round ground-and-pound stoppage.
