Alan Wake 2 will not have one but two playable characters

Previously, during the PlayStation showcase, Remedy Entertainment revealed October 17, 2023 as the date for Alan Wake II. Followed by that, the franchise also claimed the sequel to be a standalone title. And well, fans were pleased by the information for quite some time before they demanded something new.

So, to adhere to their requests, Sam Lake, the franchise’s creative director, made an appearance at Summer Game Fest. He started off by revealing that Alan Wake II would have two playable characters – the titular character Alan Wake and a brand new addition Agent Saga. Hard core fans may already be familiar with Wake, but Saga is no slouch either. She is an FBI agent coming to the Pacific North West town of Pride Land with her partner Alex Cassey.
